Our document repository (knowledgebase) stores many types of documents allowing it to be used for a wide range of purposes such as a media repository, a document (file) repository or an articles repository.
How is this different from a list of downloadable documents on a webpage? A static list of 'downloadable documents' cannot be sorted, searched through or displayed according to category.
Our repository system makes it easy to upload a document or article straight into the web database to be categorised and indexed by the internal repository search engine. This means a repository webpage can:
- Display documents or articles by category
- Allow anyone to sort documents or articles by category
- Allow anyone to search for a document or article on all or part of these fields: item title, description, author name, email address.
- Rate a document or article
- View and/or add comments to a document or article
